Grub Customizer and HDMI tweak

I have to admit that this is the neatest thing for fixing the grub boot file in Ubuntu. I was having problems with a computer I turned into an Ubuntu machine not being able to boot and this sucker did the trick.

It’s fairly simple to add using these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install grub-customizer

Also, I managed to work out the HDMI display issue by adding a driver to the computer using system settings>additional drivers.  It still has an unknown graphics card and displays the wrong monitor, but at least the screen is back in range.

Not sure how the original installation managed to get the correct monitor, whereas subsequent ones have the wrong one, but it works.
