Vive Robert Clary!

Robert_Clary_Capitol_Records_circa_1950I just found out that Robert Clary (probably best known for being Corporal LeBeau in Hogan’s Heroes) is still alive.

For those who didn’t know it,  Clary survived the Holocaust. There actually were a few Jews on the cast and Werner Klemperer and John Banner also were effected by the Holocaust (Banner joins my list of people who were lawyers who changed professions).

The reason I found out Clary was alive was that I heard him doing a duet with Eartha Kitt on her “A Touch of French” album.  I wondered what happened to him.

May he have a long and healthy life!
